I heard that lemon and sun can lighten hair but can black hair be lightened up??? I want a liiiight brown or dirty blond color. Can black hair get into a brown shade?

I've used natural henna for many years with great results - mixing my own brew. I now want to go lighter. Any way I can do this? I've heard that chemical colourant must not be used if there is henna on the hair and I don't want to cut all my hair off!

They used to look fine for 3 days, cause I wash my hair every other day, cause they say its bad to do it everyday. My hair used to be fine, but now it gets really greasy, really easily even if I have curly or staright hair! Why and if you know a way to fix it help me!!!! And I dotn put on that much stuff on my hair, just some curling cream and some cream to help it keep straight when I straighten it. And they never used to make my hair greasy!

I need to know what is in right now short hair or long hair? My hair is fairly long with a layered cut , its lenght is under the bra strap, and its the longest i've had it in a while because it is usually a little past my shoulders. So i dont know whether i should cut it to a shorter lenght or leave it as it is. Whatever is in what hair cut style should i do? please help

iv started using an eplilater...
for anyone not sure what it is; its a fast electronic way of tweezing hairs.
but am worrying that over time this will damage my skin.

has anyone had any bad experiences using it? and
Is there any sceinctific proof that repeated epilating has any damaging effects to skin?

I have black roots coming in (about 3 inches) and i have the rest of my hair dyed a very light brown with blond hilights. I want to get my hair all1 color, like a dark brown shade. Since my black roots are showing and i basically have two colors, can I get that dark brown after 1 application, or will the hairdresser have to do it twice so that it looks even?

i have bangs that come down to my chin, would they look OK?
my hair is 2 in. past my shoulders and layered. and my bangs down to my chin. without getting a hair cut. (i jut got one) what's a good hair style?

i'm not getting it cut, colored, or stuff like that...just something i can do myself.

I don't have a mustache problem, you can't even see it, its just fizzy blonde hairs, but it bothers me in the summer, because I sweat really bad right there. If I wax it, will I have to keep doing it because more hairs will grow back in its place?
