The only treatment for split ends is a trim or a haircut... No shampoo or product will mend split ends... I know this Im a licensed stylist! Get a haircut/trim everymonth... Hair on average grows 1/2 per month! Use a thermal protectant before blowdrying or styling hair with heat to avoid breakage! I dont recommend any store bought shampoo because Im licensed so Im all for professional products! Alot of store bought products are drying to the hair due to their alkalinity or very waxed based and can cause buildup! If you need recommendations for professional products let me know otherwise best of luck to you!

There is no such thing as a shampoo that helps treat split ends. You either have to clip off the split ends or moisturize your ends more. Alot of products claim to help treat split ends but there all wrong. Moisture is all your hair needs. Deep conditioners every week are great aids for preventing split ends.

split ends cannot be "treated" by anything other than cutting them off: FACT.
split ends CAN be prevented by using specialist shampoos, but more importantly conditioners. Just looking in your local supermarket - the bottles will all say "specially for damaged hair" etc. on them. The more expensive well known brands are usually better.

split ends cant really be glued back together. how can a shampoo fix split ends? they promise to, or to prevent them, however, if you blowdry and straiten your hair, it will split at the ends. best thing to do is just use professional shampoo and conditioner, more expensive but will keep your hair stronger or more moisturized and get it trimmed often to get rid of the splits you already have.

You should use SUNSILK Hydra TLC because it is cheap and it works! Their is shampoo and conditioner each for about 4 dollars. You can find it at most Walgreens and probably any other drugstore. On top of washing your hair with it when you get out of the shower while your hair is still damp, take a dollop or two of the conditioner and run it through your hair. Hope this works for you!

Actual once you get split ends it's impossible to treat them the only thing to do is to get your hair trimmed.

Your local Walmart and/or Kmart has Garnier Fructis Length and Strength...It's got a blue strip on it. They've got shampoos, conditioners, leave in treatments...It's fantastic. And they are very inexpensive.
Hope this helps and good luck!
