Okay, just yesterday when I woke up from my bed my hair was everywhere, so I combed it sideways going down and found a new look I want to keep. Yes, I'm a lightskin black person, but I just want to create something of my own style. My parents don't like it and I think my relatives talk about it behind my back and I'm like 17 years old, so I should be old enough to make my own decision. What should I do?

Um, I was born with natural blonde hair and I kind of miss it (it's now Ashey/Brown) I've been doing highlights and they are ok, but I'm still debating on whether or not I should dye it blonde. Here are a few pics to help you decide.

i have a straightener at my house, but it is a cheapo 20 dollar one and it fries my hair up! I want to keep straightening it but not if it makes my hair dry and gross. does anyone have any good suggestions on a good straightener that they've used or heard abuot before?

my hair is horrable in the mornings and i have to have a REALLY good straightner. so someone said that a chi would do wonders with my hair...but i just need some kind of price range...they said that i could only get one at an actual hair salon...but i have to have SOMETHING and really fast!

I have really think hair and its not full or volume or any thing and i use big sexy hair like every volumizing spray and it doesnt volumize it. Is there any way to get thinner hair and more volume?

BTW, I am a 16 year old kid, with really premature balding. It really blows, but I've come to terms with it. My Dermotoogist put me on Rogaine, but I've been reading the labels and it says its only used for treating vertextual balding (i.e. your bald spot/crown of head)
I've been using the Rogaine all over my head, not only in the bald spot. I take a 1/2 cap full (this is foam) and spread it over the crown as well as the top of my head. It's only been a couple weeks on it, and I've yet to notice negative side effects. I would like to correct any improper technique now. Does Rogaine grow back hair that's not on your crown?

No matter how many vitamins I try, my hair continues to grow at a snails pace. I'm going to a formal ball next month, and I want to do something interesting with my hair. Sadly, it's just too short.

I just bought a weft of 18" clip-in hair extensions from Sally Beauty. Is that one weft enough for a full head? (I have very thick hair. Fine, but lots of it)

so my daughter just turned one last month. her hair isnt very long, but her bangs are long enough that they actually go passed her eyes. my inlaws have been telling me to cut her hair or at least give her bangs? but im scared it might turn out TOTALLY hideous and she will be stuck with it for however long it takes to grow back! her hair is brown and REALLY REALLY thin. its looks fine when i tie it up, but when i dont (and i dont really like to just becuz the hairties tend to pull her hair out since its so thin) it totally just falls in front of her face and looks sloppy..
