Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water. Blondes may wish to add a squeeze of lemon. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as normal.

Hair masks are used typically to repair damaged hair and restore moisture which explains why your hair is greasy afterwards. This type of product is too heavy for your hairtype and you should avoid it if you wish to not have the same result. This product should work well for you as well as the entire line which contains tea tree oil which is natural antiseptic. It removes all the icky stuff but leaves your hair in a healthy ph balance.

I know this isn't a mask for a recipe but I recommend using Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner (even treatments). I use to have HORRIBLE split ends. I would get them every single time I cut my hair. I use to use Pantene and switched over to Herbal just to try it out. It's been months since I got my hair trimmed and I have absolutely no split ends what so ever. Try it.

The best you can do, is cut off the split ends. Conditioners will not exactly correct the problem. They can help by correcting it some, and making it look and feel better, though.
