NO gels or mousses or hairsprays all those things make my hair sticky and crunchy... i want my curly soft and bouncy.

So I have super thick hair. I keep it short or else it'll turn into some weird afro. Basically I just want to do something different with my hair. I try spiking my hair sometimes, but I don't really care about it that much. Also causes a lot of dandruff and stuff for me.

So what else can I try? Should I grow it out and then try straightening it? I appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

I dyed it black about a week ago and it seems to already be fading. I love the way it looks on me, and so does everyone I know. I don't know when I'm going to be able to afford more dye. The shampoo/conditioner I use is TreSemme Color Revitalize.

everytime i do it, it doesnt come out right. how do you do it? i didnt think it was so hard until i tried it. i have a skinny curling iron. and if i curl my hair will it not get messed up in the fog like when i straighten it?

My daughter has lice and i cant seem to get rid of them! i have done her hair 6 times and it has been 3 days scince i did it last and i have found 11 lice and 2 nits in the past hour!she has really really thick hair.how am i supposed to get rid of them...please help!

I have naturally straight hair thats about down to my shoulders, maybe a lil bit longer, and I shower every morning(except on weekends or breaks, then its every other morning) and blowdry it dry. Problem is, it takes a while and its never completly dry and isnt completly straight when I blow dry it. I was thinking about using a straightner to make my morning routine easier, and make my hair the way I want it. I know my hair cant be wet when I straighten it.

My mom says Ill ruin my hair, but I want to know if it wouldnt completly fry my hair.

What are your thoughts on this? If your a little confused, just ask and Ill try to make more sense or ellaborate more.

i dyed my hair medium brown and i dont like that its only one color. so i was thinking on adding highlights on my own but i dont have a highlighting kit. i do have another box of hair dye(medium auburn) but i dont know if i could use that to add highlights to my hair.
