my straightener has been KILLING my hair lately! i try to do it as lil as possible, but still its killing it! any suggestions?

if you have pics i need them too. i want my hair cut kinda like brenda song with out the bangs.also i have glasses if that changes anything. i still want to ba able to put my hair in a ponytail. my hair is about medium and very straight

In our group of ten friends ( 4 girls and 6 boys), one of the guys got his head shaved.We girls laughed at him and the whole day we kept rubbing his head.And from then on one after the other the boys started getting their heads shaved stating one or the other reason.

But the reason was quite obvious.Each one of them wanted to enjoy the extra attention they got from us girls the day they got their head shaved.

Are women directly or indirectly influencing men to get their heads shaved?Or is there some other reason?

ok, so now that i got my perm question resolved...onto another one...how much do i tip a stylist who does a perm and a haircut??? she said it'll take about 3 hours and i don't remember exactly how much, but it'll be under $100...keep in mind, i live in northern wisconsin, not new york!!!

I heard lemon juice can lighten ur hair. If i have dark brown hair that is almost like black,what coolor will it mostly turn out to?Is it as chemical as the dye products?How long do i have to wait?

I have natural blonde hair and I decided I wanted a change. I decided to dye my hair a semi permanent brown at home. It turned out too dark do I decided to start putting semi-blonde dyes over the top. My hair is now a dark blonde colour with a green tinge. I know I was stupid but I need to know if the green will soon fade. I have stopped dying my hair now. PLEASE HELP

My best friend has sensitive clear skin but she has a little bit of facial hair growing on the side of her cheeks. The hairs are light brown(almost blonde) but you can see them if you get super close to her...She asked me to wax it off for her but I think this will cause irritation on her skin! Ladies, what do you reccommend we do? Thanks :)

I have been dying my hair for years but recently the quality has really gotten terrible. I naturally have thick wavy black hair but since I use a straightening iron once or twice a week and in the past year and a half, dying it blonde the quality has really gotten bad and thin. It was okay till about 2 months ago but since the last time I died it (been doing roots every 4 months since highlighted it so light in Sept 05 ), it is now so dry it looks like straw and breaks all the time. The hair sticks in the exact position i set it, it is not "flowy" at all and looks really bad. I use a lot of products like oil and deep conditioners once or twice a week when I wash it but it doesn't seem to be improving. I have also moved to a new country and the water is quite harsh. What can I use that will help restore the strength and shine to my hair? I am desperate and hopeful to find something that won't take 6 months to work! Please help!

i dyed my hair brown and then after a while it went back to this weird color. i waited a couple days before washing my hair after i dyed it but i couldn't help being out of the sun...but i dont think thats why the color went away. What brands have you used to dye your hair that really worked?

I have naturally black hair, and my highlights are dirty blond. My roots are showing about an inch, and I've had the highlights for more than a month. If I was to buy a product from the story to dye my hair either a very dark blue-ish, red-ish, or natural color, will the highlights show up a lighter color? Will I have a weird undertone? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm an african american and as most people know we have very wavy and kinky hair. my hair is about to the middle of my back and I wanted to know what kind of flat iron is good to use when straightening my hair and also what products would be good to use to remove frizz.
