ok, so now that i got my perm question resolved...onto another one...how much do i tip a stylist who does a perm and a haircut??? she said it'll take about 3 hours and i don't remember exactly how much, but it'll be under $100...keep in mind, i live in northern wisconsin, not new york!!!

About 15-20% precent of what you pay for it

I usually tip my stylist $50, but if it's someone other than the norm $30.

It doesn't matter where you live, that's one thing.
You tip them 10% of what you paid. So if you pay 100$ you tip 10$

It is really rude to NOT tip, and 20 percent is pretty average, but to tip only 10 percent or to not tip is really bad manners.

it varies. if you think you like the result, give at least 15-20%. if you don't like it, don't give a tip.

you don't have too tip. it is nice but not exactly necessary, especially if she is the owner or owns the booth. but 10 % is sufficiant
