It doesnt make your hair grow..it coats the hair with wax and builds up on it, it is designed for use on horse's hair which is dry and rough. The waxy coating gives a shine to the hair, and that is all it can do for you. No shampoo will affect hair's growth speed, the only way to do that is to take supplements that nourish the follicle root where hair is manufactured by the body.

I buy the 32 oz bottles and their $7.99 each. Mane 'n Tail does help promote hair growth. I have notice a lot of new growth in the past 6 months. I purchase my shampoo and conditioner at Sallys Beauty Supply Store.

Mane and Tail comes in huge containers and it's pretty cheap. I would say no more than $5 a bottle. But I don't know that it works any better than regular shampoos and conditioners. Could just be a myth, but it's worth a shot. I don't remember it smelling wonderful, though.

I used to use it on our horses, then our daughters started using it. i swear 2 out of the 4 that used it have hair like a horses tail! long thick. we bought it at the local farm and home store for around 5 bucks a bottle. I believe that walmart sales it now also.

it depends. but be ware the stuff they sell in the store is not the mane & tail that i used on my farm animals. check a local feed store and they should be able to tell you cost. I got them cheaper than i pay for my bed head products, and my hair was beautiful

That's shampoo and conditioner originally made for horses. It can't make your hair grow. Mane‘n Tail shampoo and conditioner maintains and helps to achieve longer, stronger, healthier more FULLER LOOKING hair. You need Rogaine or such to grow/regrow hair.

I have been able to purchase this at the dollar store for under 4 dollars... it did not make a difference in the growth of my hair tho...so I am back to good old suave!!!

I know they sell it in WalMart so I don't think it is over 6.00 a bottle
