I have naturally straight hair thats about down to my shoulders, maybe a lil bit longer, and I shower every morning(except on weekends or breaks, then its every other morning) and blowdry it dry. Problem is, it takes a while and its never completly dry and isnt completly straight when I blow dry it. I was thinking about using a straightner to make my morning routine easier, and make my hair the way I want it. I know my hair cant be wet when I straighten it.
My mom says Ill ruin my hair, but I want to know if it wouldnt completly fry my hair.
What are your thoughts on this? If your a little confused, just ask and Ill try to make more sense or ellaborate more.

I have the same problem! My hair is naturally straight and i still use a straightener. However, i only straighten it when i have a special event. I BEG YOU! YOUR HAIR WILL BE SO DAMAGED! This could lead to possible thinning when your older and who wants to have a comb-over when your a 70 year old woman? Also, your hair will start to smell fried like it does right after you straighten it. Every time i do my hair, i have a little voice at the back of my head saying "your hair is frying!!!". Straighten with caution! Happy Hair Days!

Well it is okay to use the straightener like maybe 2x a week, but if you use it everyday then your hair will be ruined/fried and you will have really bad split ends. Your mom is right. I would just stick to blow drying it try wearing it curly by when it is wet just adding some gel and scrunching it. Besides getting your hair perfect isn't everything. It's what's inside that matter! =)

Well i straighten my hair every morning, just take a shower before bed.. and then it will be dry when you wake up, then straighten it.... it wont ruin your hair, and if you are concerned get some hair products like something that makes your hair shine or something to protect it from getting damaged from the heat.

Well, they do sell wet to dry straightners. [they dry & straighten at the same time]
And as far as damage goes, it depends on how high you set the heat power, and if you use enough conditioner. And you can do hot oil treatments every other week if needed.

I definitely have this straightener. i for my area am uncertain if it definitely damages your hair, yet from my adventure i could say specific, a splash. I used this straightener continuously only simply by fact i did not elect to bypass out and purchase yet another one. while utilising it i got here across my hair could consistently be dry and it may harm off on the ideal so i could have little hairs sticking up from the ideal of my head! haha. I additionally concept that it may shop time by utilising being waiting to apply it on moist hair, yet definitely it took continuously! properly that modify into for my extremely long hair, and that i don't be attentive to what your hair form is. If i exchange into you i could verify into the Her Styler or the ISO. I definitely have used those and that they are only like a Chi yet greater on your funds( : stable success on looking a straightener!
