No, it is a waxy shampoo and conditioner originally formulated for horse's manes and tails which are coarse rough hair......the wax in them coats the hair and helps it look more shiny than dull, but it has no effect on hair's growth or health. NO shampoo can help hair growth, only supplements taken to help the follicles function at optimum efficiency can do that.

i say one thousand times yes it does. there is a supplement at the health store that is to promote hair growth called horse__???
the associates will know what you're looking for.
remember-----
hair grows from a little pocket. inside the pocket is like a life source it's where the blood is supplied. as long as there is blood flow to the pocket hair, will grow.

so whenever you think about it, stimulate your scalp.
more stimulation+more blood flow= healthy hair growth

get a natural bristle brush, hard, med or soft are OK, what ever you prefer. the more you brush, the more blood flow increases. you will stimulate your pockets that have natural oils in them too. hair will be alive, long, shiny and beautiful!
