Hmm.. well if you don't want to use straightening irons, then use Herbal Esscences shampoo, the hydrating therapy kind, and after you put the consitioner in, leav eit in for 2-3 mins. before you rinse. Rinse your hair with icy cold water. Don't blow dry unless necessary. Use a slicking serum when you style it [i suggest Garnier Fructise shiny serum]. Do a hot oil treatment on it once a month or every 2 weeks, dpeending on how frizzy it gets. You can ifnd these at CVS or walgreens.

hope this helps!!

my hair is JUST like that! i HATE it. but, here's what i use to tame it. first off, you gotta use good shampoo and conditioner! i use Sunsilk De-Frizz for both shampoo and conditioner. it comes in the green bottle. ALWAYS wash your hair in cold water, and always leave the conditioner in for about three minutes. also, don't rinse all the conditioner out of your hair. leave a little in. whenever you dry your hair with a towel it should get the excess off. then, when your hair is towel dry, put Got 2 B Crazy Sleek throughout your hair, then blow dry! if it's still a little frizzy after you dry it, use a bit of Frizz-Ease Serum. this will protect your hair from humidity, make it shiny, and make it soft. i hope this helps!

A good product to use is Dove intense frizz control for dry or thick hair. You just put desired amount onto your hand rub them together and put it on your hair. Then to even it out comb your hair through(optional). It works on wet or dry hair! I use it all the time, and it is not greasy. You can find it a local drugstore. ( it is a small white and blue container)

sounds like ur descrbing my hair!! Pay close attention cuz this actually works!! I have long (to my waist), curly hair! First of all buy different kinds of shampoo and conditioner and wash ur hair with a different one every day (they don't have to be expensive & u can buy like three different ones at time and switch between those three) for some reason ur hair looks/ is more manageable. After you shower wrap your hair in a towel for like 3 min's it needs to be humid use Mousse and it has to be extra control make sure it doenst say for volume!! I personally love Herbal Essences or Pantene and work great, make sure u apply the mousse throughout ur hair (one bottle of mousse lasts me 3 days...that depends on the length of ur hair) but make sure u don't miss a spot!! after the mousse dry ur hair with a towell do not mess with ur hair until is dry!! Try it I guarantee it will work if u do it the right way ...my daughter has the same problem and we both solve it with mousse...(use some type of hair treatement on the side ...like hot oils)Everyone compliments my hair they say it's beatiful!! I bet they wouldn't say that if they saw my hair without Mousse...OH! IF UR HAIR IS LIKE MINE FRIZZ EASE WON'T WORK!!

Mine is a million/2 way down my lower back nonetheless ...it may be longer if it wasn't so curly and wavy . I consistently enjoyed long hair on every person and that i've got saved mine long for over 35 300 and sixty 5 days now and don't plan on slicing it quickly.

omg. i know EXACTLY what your going through! i have the same kinda of hair, except my hair is all of those things, plus incredibly thick. Okay. What i do to just go for a "all-natural" casual look is put some gel and some curl enhancer
mousse. then scrunch and let air-dry. It looks so good. I get more complimets when i do that than when i straighten my hair.

i think Paul Mitchell makes a shampoo-conditioner to help hair like yours. Its a little expensive but works pretty well with the poof. i use the shmapoo then conditoner then let my hair dry normally or in a towel. try both and blow-dry it might work better with the blow-dry. i havent tried that though cause i dont have a blow-dryer.

i used john freida's frizz ease. it really brings out the curls in my hair and leaves the frizz down. put it in your hair right after you wash it then brush it only once while its still wet. dont brush it as it starts to dry. then it will be curly and not frizzy at all.
