Hair - November 2006

I want to redye my hair brown and then add blonde highlights. (I'm gonna do it myself) Should I dye my hair brown first then wait a couple days for the highlights or can I do it all in one night? What is a good hair dye for highlights. I have dark brown hair and I want really light highlights. Thanks

I have long hair, passed my shoulders and down to my collar bone. I've never gotten a bad comment on it, that's why I choose to keep it the length it is.

I'm only seventeen, and my friends keep telling me that I'll never be able to get a part-time job, because of my long hair. Is this true? It seems rather stereotypic, since I manage my hair just as well, or probably even better than some women.

What do you think?

I have gone months without perming my hair and everyone is telling me that it needs to be permed. So, I want to know what is the safest perm to use. I have been told to use Olive Oil perm. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thank you!

If u have really really thick hair should u use the maxiglide? Do u think if i wet my hair and not dry it and just use the maxiglide would it straighten it? Or should i just leave it damp then straighten it with the maxiglide?

I have started doing mine as I fancy a change. I do not often straighten my hair as it is really curly and frizzy I was just wanting some of your ideas/tips. I have been using my remmingtons wet to straight.

I'm like the only girl in my grade that has REALLY REALLY curly hair? Like every day I put it into a pony, bun, or braids. Should I start to show my curls or should I try and buy a hair strighter or keep doing it in a pony, bun, or braids? My friends think I should show my curls...what do you think? later today i'm dying my hair using semi permanent color from sallys. i usually dye my own hair but i was just wondering if there's anything different i should do when dying this time because i'm using color jamz in crimson storm, a purple red color. my hair is already a white blonde but i use normal brands like revlon and stuff not more vibrant colors like this.

also, should i be using manic panic instead, is that better?

at the moment it is shoulder length with layers, and whenever i style it and go out the door my hair goes flat and wavy, so i usually tie it back to save the hassle of styling it helllllp!!
