Hair - November 2006

I have hair down to my butt and I trim it all the time, you know and I was wondering should I cut it? If I do, I don't want to do locks of love, there are enough people doing that, I just want to make my hair into a belt if I did. But i'm SO scared to! I've had my hair for SOOO long, it's a big part of me! I'm afraid I will cry if I do! If you were here, would you hold my hand? I hope that you would! :-\

My hair is naturally dark brown, it's wavy with some little curls at the end. It's fairly long, passed my shoulders in the back, and nearly down to my collar bone in the front.

I've never dyed my hair before, but my girlfriend is dyeing my hair black tomorrow. She thinks it'll suit me since my eyebrows are black already. What can I expect from this? She said it'll make my hair a little straighter. I'd like that

what do you think? I don't know much about dyeing hair

I am bored and I am waiting for my hair to dry a bit more before going to bed to sleep in my rollers.

Does anyone else do this or is it only me. I dont like using heated appliances and find that plastic mesh salon type rollers are the best way to create long lasting curls or waves in my hair

Also what do you use to keep your rollers in place overnight, I normally either use a tight fitting net or scarf over my rollers,

I dyed my hair pitch black permanently and now I want to dye it a different color but i have to bleach it first. How much would it be to get it bleached completely at a salon? (i have longer than shoulder length hair)

ok, i have really short hair, it reaches to at least my neck, im "african american", so its naturally kinda hard to make it grow. i was wondering if anyone knew a way to make my hair grow kinda fast.

My hair is incredibly thick, even after I have had it layered. I go to a private school where I must wear my hair up during the school day, so it gets extra big from being up for 7 hours. I am using head and shoulders right now for dandruff, it also makes my hair very soft. It is not that my hair is frizzy, it is just big. Also, when my hair is wet it dries curly, but when I try to curl it, it won't hold.

ok well tomorrow is my first day of school ( i switched schools) and i don't know how to wear my hair...... its a private school so i have to wear a uniform... my uniform is a hunter green shirt and khaki pants (at least thats what i'm wearing tomorrow) should I wear my hair curly or straight?? and in what style like up, down, half up half down, what.. plz i really need help!!! also tomorow its supposed to be a little rainy in the moring...

Okay so i dyed my hair blonde and black streaky just for the heck of it. Then i dyed it dark brown (almost black) all over to heal the bleached parts. now I have tried and tried to lighten it up with box color but its not working. My real hair color is kinda dirty blonde. Im scared to use a light color on it for fear that it may turn orange. Im not so good at the box dye thing. But I have about 3 inch roots so the last time I used a box I tried to get a lighter brown...now I have lighter brown 3 inch roots and still dark brown hair...what would you suggest?

Wehnever i goto salon, and say"make it short", they want it bald. But whenever i goto indian barbers and just sit down and say nothing , they do the right job. At salon, they ask me do u want #1,2,3 or 4 and i assume 4 is shortest.If i say 3 they make it semi- bald.So, which terminology should i use at salons to get good results like the 1 i get at indian barbers.
