If you have a beauty school close by try having your hair color changed there. Even though a student will do the work, a professional will supervise. I would be very precise when telling them exactly what you did to get it to its current state and how you want it to look.

I am a licensed cosmetologist, and I would not suggest that you try this at home. You will also find that many salons will not attempt this unless they specialize in corrective color. I work specializing in color correction, because there was so few that would do this and there is money in the process. The biggest problem is there is no way of telling you exactly how it will turn out. To remove a permanent color especially black can be difficult since the color is so deep. The color will need to be bleached till it is a shade or two lighter than the color you want, and then recolored to the color. This can be very harsh and damage the hair if not done correctly. If you do find a salon that will do this procedure for you, your hair needs to be in good shape to start with, or you will have breakage. If you hair is in bad shape (dry, brittle, split ends) and the shop still wants to do the work RUN!! For price it is going to depend on how much work and time is put into getting your hair to the color you want. I would say no less that $175.00

nothing is permanent. Wait a while longer then go have it done. Unless u want light Blonde right away, i would go down a color at a time. Easier on the hair.

Probably around $100 where I live. But they'd have to tone it afterwards unless you want bleached blonde hair. Bleach & toning would probably cost you anywhere between $150-$200

Around $40 but it is going to dry your hair up so badly! Maybe you should wait a little longer so it doesn't fry your hair.
