First you need to figure out if it is damage or not, sometimes frizz and damage gets confused. Start with looking at what is going on your hair. Get a Malibu to get all the build up off (over time waxy products like Pantene will smother the hair causing it to shatter all the way up). Get a Chemistry by Redken done-it's worth it. Get something to put on your hair once a week. no matter if you trim your hair or not, long hair is dry, curly hair is dry. Weekly, silk fuel by Redken is my favorite. I have curly long hair, and I baby it. If you flat iron it, don't do it more than every few days, and use a heat protector: heat seal by p.m. is a good. Everything is about ingredients, and what works.

I had a huge problem with frizz and static, but my friend showed me Biosilk silk treatment, and it works MIRACLES.

Now i just always make sure to use a smoothing conditioner and I leave it in for at least 60 seconds in the shower and then I quickly dry my hair with a blow dryer, then rub some Biosilk on my fingers and run it through my hair... In about 15 minutes I have straight, smooth hair, with almost no frizz.

But a quick tip... be sparing with the biosilk. If you use too much your hair will look and feel oily.

Oh, and if you are still having problems, I'd look for a leave in conditioner or run my hands through the ends of my hair right after putting on lotion.

STEP 1: Work with it. If your hair normally has curl or wave to it, it will become more curly when the humidity is high. Consider going with a layered style that accentuates curls. STEP 2: Wear your hair longer during humid months. The extra weight of the hair will keep it from puffing out as much. STEP 3: Use humidity-resistant or anti-frizz hair care products in everything from shampoo to hair spray. STEP 4: Wear your hair in a ponytail or bun. STEP 5: If you can't seem to tame the curl or frizz, consider getting your hair professionally straightened.

There's alot of products that can help you to stop the frizzy hair ....first cut the ends there's no hair that can stop being frizzy if you do not trim the ends ...then you need an deep conditioner for your ends for about 25 minutes you can use egg mixed with oil any cooking oil cover your head for about 25 minutes and then rinse it with warm luke water ....then You need to wash your hair with Pantene antifrizz shampoo and conditioner then you can apply any live in from pantene to stop the antifrizz remember to do the oil treatment once a month after you trim your ends ok

Working Methods:

1. Use an anti-frizz gel
Pros: frizz is under control depending on how much you apply
Cons: You have to apply it after you shower, costs money to buy bottles of it.

2. Blow Dry Hair
Pros: frizz is partially controlled
Cons: Straightens your hair to some extent if that is undesired, damages hair due to excessive heat energy

3. Use a straigtener
Pros: Frizz 100% controlled if you do it right
Cons: same effect as blow drying hair

4. Cut your hair really short! =]
Pros: Frizz is annihilated
Cons: You might not want short hair! =[

I am an expert on this. I have fought with my hair for years and I have found two products that do the trick. They are both leave in conditioners..

SLEEK LOOK EXTREME by MATRIX

HEADRESS by nexus... this, at one time, was only availabe through licensed beauticians but is now available in grocery stores and drug stores. This product is really neat because you can also mix it with water and make a spray out of it. You can apply it to wet hair or dry hair...I LOVE this stuff!

I once bought this stuff from Pureology that smelled like bubble gum. It was gooey and thick but you used a tiny amount and just sort of touched the tips of your hair with it. Worked great, but might not be an all over frizz solution. But it smelled fantastic.

Olive oil treatment:

its very easy.
First take like a cup of olive oil and heat it up in the microwave for like 30 seconds. Put it in your hair dry, and wrap it with syran wrap. get a hot towel, like from the dryer and wrap it up around the syran wrap and olive oil. then when it cools down, take everything out.
go in the shower and shampoo twice, you will feel all gross still, but once you blow dry it, it will be beautiful silky non frizzy hair

whatever you do dont use pantene!!!!!!!

Flat irons work wonders for frizzy hair.
Plus try Pantene Pro-V sleek and smooth. It's amazing and smells wonderful. I'd recommend the conditioner, shampoo, and deep conditioning product.

If you want to get rid of it for months on end: go to your local beauty supply store (Sallys for example) and purchase one of the following products:

Thermal Ionic Straightening (will result in STRAIGHT frizz free waterproof hair for at least six months)
http://www.conairpro.com/ti/

-Or-

Jheri redding Frizz Remover
(will result in frizz free hair for at least 6 months- the hair you treat stays frizz free- its the new growth that needs to be retreated)
