just hardly wavy and they were small. I want my hair to have big poofy curls how do I perm it like this?

Buy a "difficult to curl" perm if you have long or thick hair. You need bigger hair-rollers and instead of winding under, wind outwards. Good luck

well my aunt owns her own haIr salon and she told me in deep situations like that after you get a perm you put a hot oil treatment in your hair which will help the perm form a wavy look.the longer you keep in the hot oil treatment the more deep the waves will become.i know this for a proven fact because i have went for that wavy look befor also and the out look was great so give it a try and e-mail me the turn out because depending on the texture of your hair you might have to use another resource for that look.so gGOOD LUCK!!!!

I got a perm a while ago and mine were big and poofy...did you get a spiral perm? thats how mine got all big and poofy..now i have a perm again and its not as big because i didnt want a spiral perm...so that might be it...

just tell your styest thats what you want. Make sure you dont get your hair wet for 24 hours that what ruins a lot of perms.
