Cut is in a short bob. Don't cut your hair in layers if it's thin and fine. That will just make it even more flat and diminish the volume. You have to cut your hair all in one length. Don't let it grow longer than shoulder length though, because the weight will also make it flatten out and not have volume. Hope this gives you an idea. :-)

I have very fine hair too. Layers is the worst haircut to have. Layers show up split ends more and thin out the look of your hair anyway. Maybe try a one length bob? Bobs are in fashion at the moment. Dry your hair upsidedown and use volumising mousse but as a whole, bobs are easy to maintain :)

Hiya, I'm a hairdresser, and my hair is really fine, I have it cut into a long bob, so it just sits on my shoulders, a few choppy layers to add a bit of volume, and blonde and mocha brown high/lowlights... I haven't got time to style it everyday believe it or not, so can just wash it little bit of volumiser and rough finger dry.. lightly hairspray, and bingo.. looks ok.. Highlighting adds a lot of volume, as bleach swells the hair, get it done professionally and you will see a big difference.. good luck x

i have very fine hair and know that i can put a small amount of layering through it but if they are shorter then they just make my hair look like rats tails. at the moment i have a graduated bob. this is short(graduated) at the back and chin length at the sides. i have not put any layers through it at the front it,s all the one length and it has made my hair look a lot thicker. if your hair is anything like mine you would not consider the curls as they would flop before you had made it out the front door also the longer you grow your hair it can look even finer .hope this helps happy hair days.

I think you shouldn't cut your hair. You should curl it with large curls to give it some volume. Also be thankful for how it already is. It seems to look alright naturally.

If you really want to cut your hair, I think you should cut it as all one length because layers can make it look flatter.

Hope I helped and good luck!

you should have it be grown longer, to make it look thicker. but, when it's long enough, get rid of the layers: it makes your hair look thinner. plus, you could use pantene pro-v, or garnier fructis, it gives it more body. dove is for people with thick hair, too weigh it down.

I heard a hairdresser say before that if you have fine hair highlights make it look thicker.

i recommend you let your hair grow all one length, so that way it looks and feels like you have more hair than when you have it in layers. i wish we could trade places, i have wayyy too much hair.
