If u have really really thick hair should u use the maxiglide? Do u think if i wet my hair and not dry it and just use the maxiglide would it straighten it? Or should i just leave it damp then straighten it with the maxiglide?

I have a maxiglide and i used to have very thick curly hair before i got it chemically straightend. the maxiglide worked really good on my hair. it wasnt frizzy and made it a little easier to straighten. u need to wait until ur hair is comepletly dry before u straighten it cuz it will break ur hair. also it would take a little longer if it was damp or wet for it to straighten. if you dont want to wait until ur hair drys just blowdry it and then straighten it. hope this helps!!

I have the maxiglide. I LOVE IT!!! I have think hair also. I part my hair, I take the top part and twirl it up and clip it and straighten the bottom layer, when thats done i just keep adding hair from the top layer. I usually have 2-3 layers. I doesn't take long.. I have long hair. I only use it on dry hair not wet, that will prob poof it up. I blow dry it then wait a couple mins then straighten.

i believe you are supposed to use straightening irons on dry hair- the wet hair could cause a steam burn- be careful!

unless it says that you can have wet hair in the manual- don't risk it!

if you have very thick hair the iron should work well- the stronger your hair the better. but i would only reccomend using it once in a while because it may cause damage with too much use.

good luck!
