I've been straightening my hair for a long time and the best thing to do is get a frizz-control serum (i recommend Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine) and a straightening spray ( Herbal essences has a good one)... just make sure not to totally dry out your hair by overusing your flat-iron.

straightening it good before you go to bed will keep it straight for the next day. i suggest not straightening it on a high level or straightening it over again too quickly. i suggest straightening it on a low-med level and then coming back after a few minutes to let the straightener and ur hair cool down. then u can straighten it again.

Get yourself a ghd straightener, use some straightening balm, I use, A/C no kinks straightening balm while hair is still slightly damp. Then dry it roughly with a hairdryer. You can then begin to straighten your hair section at a time. Remember to brush over the straightened hair as you go along. Finish with the shine balm, rub this over the straightened hair, then a final brush through to finish.

I don't know what you mean by a long time, but straightening only lasts unti, you wash it again or sometimes only until you for to sleep. If want your hair to stay straightened longer than that, I suggest going to a salon and getting it chemically straightened.

i wash it, let it air dry, put biosilk in it, straighten it with a hair iron, put bio silk in it again, and leave it down. & then if i dont wash it for the next couple of days ill pass a hair iron through it whenever it needs a touch up, even the last day when i usually have it up in a ponytail. hope this helps :-)

I had this problem I got an expensive hair straightner and used hair spray. Make sure you spray it a couple of feet away from your head or it will get sticky hope this helps!
