Hi,My mum uses boots own brand ,which is the darkes brown they do and it covers grey pretty well and lasts as well.It depends on what colour you are ?and how much grey you have? They also are resonably priced I think they're on offer something like 2 for £5.00 ? hope that helps.

if you go into a reputable salon and tell them what you are looking for they will be able to find the correct product to suit your hair and colour to suit your skin tone they will recommend a permanent colour that may fade depending on how vibrant a colour you go for but it will not wash out it will grow out so you will only have to return to have your roots retouched depending on how fast your hair grows the colours and products available in salons cannot be matched by products available in the chemists.

Clairol Grey Busters.

It will eventually fade, but not before you have enough root growth needing to be covered again, anyway.

If you go to a hair stylist tell them you need something to cover your white even if you don't have any it last longer they will mix the hair dyes together and it last for a long time.

the best way to cover grey hair is to use loreal majeral.. but you must choose a color that is single digit.. eg 5 or a 6. if you choose a color that is for example 5.35 you will end up with grey shinning through as this color is a fashion color not a natural base color.
