My hair is jet black, little dry and damaged with little grey hairs strands in betweens. They are little longer then my shoulders and its a step cut with feather cut in the front. My facecut is full round.

My two daughters both cut over 8 inches of their hair off, and I was wanting to donate it to the Locks of Love for children who have lost their hair during cancer treatment. The problem is that I don't have any Ideas where to send the hair. I have all the hair all together in just a few ponytails. Can anyone who has either done this or knows how to do it, please direct me where to start. Thanks to everyone who answers.

I've had a bob for a few years now and I got really sick of it last week and decided I want to shave it off. I went to see my hairstylist but she wouldn't do it.... So i bought some hair clippers earlier today and now I really want to do it, but I'm not sure how. Is it better to go against the grain, like from forehead to back or from back to front? I'm assuming it doesen't matter... But just in case, I don't want to look stupid. I want it to be the same length all over.

Also, which plastic thingy should I use? I want it to be really really short, like you see young boys get in the summer.

basically i don't know what i should do with my hair or my makeup. i have straight brown hair, brown eyes, & i'm wearing a white shirt that has little colorful polka dots all over, & a red necklace.

i always have trouble choosing hairstyles & makeup.
