You probably could use Kool Aid, but why don't you go to your local beauty supply and get a temporary (color) rinse. A little of it will come out in the tub every time you shower or wash your hair, but it is very easy to wipe clean. In a few weeks you'll automatically be back to your regular color. Personally, my advise is based on personal experience with homemade remedies. Something can always go wrong or you can have an allergic reaction. What if your hair starts thinning or breaking from the beverage mix? I don't play around or experiment with my hair and skin anymore. I use the products at the stores that are designed and formulated to work for whatever beauty issue I am trying to address. It's better to be safe than sorry.

The answer is YES and NO. Your hair can be dyed a punky color with kool aid but it should be lighter than dark blond for it to show up.... And yes it does wash out in over a week maybe even a few days. Generally people that use color punky colors in their hair it's done with manic panic or SPECIAL EFFECTS. Special effects is the best punky color on the market. It's the most permanent of the 2. Unfotunately these colors too are required to be lighter for it to show up best. It can show up on dark blond hair but only faint & not as vibrant. hope that helps

I used red and also green and also yellow kool aid years ago. The red was still with me (near the ends of my long hair) 5 years later. I finally got rid of the by then Pink hair by cutting that clump of hair off.

No you could not Dye your hair, you could however tint it and depending on how susceptible your hair is to dyes it may stay in for a week or so but you risk it fading into a greyish color that is highly unattractive so that your hair would appear dirty or chlorinated. Why not try a temporary hair dying product, like the aerosol kind, or even the week long hair colors.

Wow that brings back memories of one summer.
I dyed my hair with red kool aid and it kept getting more orange with every wash. Lasted about a week and was very sticky.
It was a good laugh though...

Using KoolAid is safer than dye, prolly won't damage your hair at all, but it's not permanent, and you risk staining your clothes while you are wearing them. KoolAid is considered a "stain" on hair, so yeah, it will wash out fairly quickly.

please tell me this is for homecoming or spirit week...otherwise, you should not even consider a kool aid dye job....
yes, it works...be aware that the color might look disappointingly duller than anticiapted, and will wash out quite quickly (luckily!)
