My son has a mohawk he has been dyeing his hair bright colors but he is not satified with the results, he would like a dye that has more vibrant colors and longer lasting.

I have gorgeous, thick, naturally blonde hair...very very blonde. Until recently, I had never dyed it. I decided to go dark brown with blondish highlights (because I got extremely bored with my natual color) and it looks really good, but I miss my natural hair color already! She used a semi-permanant color. How long will it take for my hair to return to its natural color? Is there anything I can do to speed up this process? Any advice is recommended...

I have african american hair... if that helps.
I'm constantly getting bored with my hair, and am always wanting to cut it, but my hair grows very very slowly, it's almost as if it doesn't grow at all lol.

If someone offered free braiding, would you take it? I'm asking because I'm a braider and I live in Tucson, AZ. I decided to offer free braiding to a selection of single mothers or their children. I also offered free braiding for a few people from the general public. I've only gotten one response. I hope I'm not scaring people away with the word 'free'. I can braid, I just want some recent pictures for my portfolio and to help some people out. Would you get you hair done for free?

Ok my hair is about shoulder lenght and i have a thin straightner and I want to know how to make it work good and then how do u curl your hair so it lokks crunchy and wet but stays that way? I am so confused about my hair?!?!?!?!

I've decided that I'm fed up with my hair. It's unhealthy, damaged, split ends galore.. I have quite the addiction to straightening irons and hair blowdryers.. I'm wondering if there's any ideas on how I could ween myself off of using them.
These are the problems I have:
1. Split ends
2. Annoying kink in my straight hair, which forces me to use straight iron
***3. Whenever I wash/brush my hair sooo many strands fall out for some reason
4. Hair feels like straw

My hair falls about an inch and a half below my shoulders, and growing it out is important to me..
but is it a good idea to cut off maybe 3/4 of an inch? Would this help?

I also dye my hair every so often, will it help if I stop this?

If I use a deep conditioning treatment will this help?

What's a hot oil treatment? Is it effective/expensive? What does it do?

Please help me,
I need to change my hair!

you cant wait to get your haircut cuz its getting ratty looking.So you go to the salon but when you get home you're really not pleased with what you got, and you keep looking in the mirror all night.

What can I do?
Shampoos, good conditioners, or at home treatments that I can make, what helps. I want to let my hair grow out really long, so I need to try and get it back to being healthy. What can I do, because I still need to use heat styling tools because I cannot do anything with my hair! Thanks for your help guys!

so i have really long hair and i was maybe thinking of giving it to locks of love if i ever got it cut but today i heard that locks of love isnt really a good as it sounds that they sell alot of the hair thats donated to them to shops for people to get hair extensions and stuff and that they sell the wigs they do make for the cancer patients based on the familys income and so they dont really just give them to the cancer patients has anyone else heard this or know if its true? or has anyone had any experiences with locks of love and i dont mean people that has donated hair i mean has anyone who suffers form cancer had any experiences with them?

HAIRCUT DESCRIPTION:

Short little layers on the bottom of my hair. But I also want my hair to be miduim/ short. And then my bangs swept to the side and it looks good when its tied up and half-tied back. U do know what I'm talking about right? lol

I always put my hair down, in a bun, leave it down, put it in a pony tail, or curl it put it all looks ugly on me.I need some nice for school anything cute for a girl.My hair is brown not to long not to short and it has blonde high lights so anything will look nice with it.

I've got medium length hair, naturally medium/dark ash brown in color. I've got olive colored skin and chocolate brown eyes. As a child, I had dishwater blond hair. I can't trust my local beautician to give me a decent haircut, so I distrust anything she says in regard to hair color. I would like to pick a good color, so I do not look like a fool. I seem to look best when I wear blues, blacks, cool greens, and lavender. I'm open to most color changes, but would really prefer to not bleach my hair. Any good suggestions taking into consideration my coloring will be appreciated.

my 13yr old daughter and I are in a debate over when to reapply straight perms. I say it should be every 4-6 weeks for touch ups and every 3-6 months for full perms she says it should be every 4-6 months for touch ups.

Which one is correct?
