well if you want the wet crunchy curl you would want to start doing your hair right out of the shower.. towel dry it then put a lot of mousse in you hair then fill it up side down and crunch it with your fingers. while still adding mousse. then when start spraying a spirits hair spray in your hair upside down also. then flip up and keep crunching then add just a little bit of red kin gel in your hands and add some to your hair. then add spirits hair spray to your air and then let it air dry it should stay that way the whole day... that's what i use to do when i was younger and wanted to have that wet look... hope it work's for you

well how about you drop the curling iron and go buy yourself a good shampoo & conditoner that amplifies curls & go get a really good brand of hair gel.. wash your hair, condition it, towel dry it then put a layer of gel and scrunch it with your hands.. remember all the products have to be for curly hair.. there is a shampoo called "wash & curl" it makes your hair really curly and it is not expensive at all.. also remember that iorns are not good for your hair.. use them once in a blue. they damage hair and cause split ends

for curly hair.. try aussy mousse stuff.. or what ever its purple and smells amazing.. wash your hair.. towel dry it so its almost dry.. dont brush it unless its REALLY tangly.. if you have a bang.. blow dry it the way you usually do. and then put the mousse in a scrunch it.. if it gets flat during the day..go to the bathroom and put some water on your hands and scrunch some more.. its re-activates the hair gunk aha...

You have to use curlers first. Sleep with them or stay with them as much as you can. Then you can use mousse or a curl activator to keep them on place. Use your curler iron to put them in place if they start straighting again.
