I've got medium length hair, naturally medium/dark ash brown in color. I've got olive colored skin and chocolate brown eyes. As a child, I had dishwater blond hair. I can't trust my local beautician to give me a decent haircut, so I distrust anything she says in regard to hair color. I would like to pick a good color, so I do not look like a fool. I seem to look best when I wear blues, blacks, cool greens, and lavender. I'm open to most color changes, but would really prefer to not bleach my hair. Any good suggestions taking into consideration my coloring will be appreciated.

A blue based black, or possibly a brownish red.

go to a beauty school for color specialists, they do have a lot more to work with and there is always a proffessor there to correct any mishaps a student might not be aware of . tried it once hair came out very good although it took a long time due to lenght of my hair.p.s. what color you chose is the one you prefer at that time and moment . next week who knows?.

Get a dark brown. Like, pretty dark. It will look gorgeous with olive skin.
