I have dyed my hair every color in the book. It's naturally a dull brown color. I've had it red, orange (by accident), purple (by accident), light blonde, and real dark brown. I did try to dye my hair blonde one time and it KILLED my hair. It dried it out and it just looked dead all the time, not to mention the awful looking roots. I have come to terms with the fact that I'll never be blonde! I haven't dyed my hair in about a year, and it just won't grow at all. someone mentioned that it won't grow as fast as it should because I damaged it so bad by dying it. Does anyone know?

I have been straitening my hair for the past 2 years and my hair is fried. I absolutly hate it curly and only wear it curly when its too hot to use flat iron. Anyone have any good ideas on straightening it naturally {even if i have to do it daily} that actally work, without going to a salon and paying 300$ to get it done chemically.

so i'm thnking of getting a NEW hair cut 4 skool but i CAN'T find a style,because my hair is thick and and i have alot of hair so you ca just imagen how puffy it gets. it not curly or strait it's retarded but what do you guys think?oh and plz don't even bother with layers i've tryed it 2 times already it get all puffed and it just looks realy bad on me. oh and if you can show me a pic that would be great.plz and thank u!!!!

The weird thing is her mother isn't doing anything about the green discoloration and it is now about half green and half blonde.Why do you think she is ignoring the green discoloration?

my permed curly hair looks great when it slightly wet...it looks more wavey and shiny.. but than my hair dries and it doesnt look so wavy.. and it gets pouffy....what product can i buy that will make my hair look wet and shiny all day..?

A crew of us are shooting a music video which incolves a female shaving her head. Wasn't my idea, but I 'll say I'am fascinated by the look of a confident bald woman. We are still looking for our model and my wife came out and said she would like to be the model since it would give her a reason to shave her head, but she doesn't want to be in the video - she doesn't like being on film. So she said if we can find a main girl to shave she will shave in the background of the scene. Only problem is we are thinking of changing the video since it is hard to find a female to shave her head. I explained to her she would look sexy exposing her head, it would bring out her eyes and smile. She wants to do it, but worrys what people will think unless she has a reason to do it. So my question has a few questions - how do I find a girl for this video? why does my wife want to shave he head (i am cool with that, but shall I let her?) and what is my backup plan to still get her to do this? Thanks...

I have always wondered how hair works in the sense that you can shave your arms or legs (or whatever) and it will grow back to what to me seems to be the same length. What happens if you only cut the hairs half way, will they grow the other half back? I heard somewhere that hair is not "alive" in the traditional sense so how does it "relay the information" of it being cut?
