please.. i need to learn how to curl/ wave my hair.. my hair is so tubborn.. it lacks volume and is sooo straight that whatever i do.. it doesn;t curl.. i wanna try something different for this school year.. help me!!! o yea.. i never tried one of those curling things that uses heat

I have straight hair that falls about 2 and a half inches below my shoulders, and I don't know how to make it wavy. Getting a perm isn't an option for me. How can I get nice waves without getting a perm?

mi hair is curly cute!,sumtimes but, i never kno what its going 2 do the nex day! i try straightening it evryday! but it dusnt always stay! and its short! people always say i should accept myself, BUT ITZ SO HARD TO! i kno god gave me this 4 a reason! but i always feel like im the only one with curly ,frizzy, wavy, poofy hair! i feel like an ALIEN! Ok, I know what highlighted hair is, I have been highlighting my hair for a while but I found these terms: splices, slices, and chunks.
What does that mean? I know they are larger sections of hair highlighted instea of strands but pictures would be nice or a detailed explanation. Please help?

If I bleach my hair, and then decide to dye it a permanent vibrant red, will it fade to pink? I have heard that this happens, and I don't want it to. If there a way that this wont happen. I have fairly dark hair and I think bleaching it will be the only way to get it light enough for the red I want. Any suggestions?
