It is true, but you need to do it several times before you see results. You put the lemon or lime juice on washed towel dried hair and then blow dry it on high heat. It is damaging. The best thing to do is to go see a hair stylist.

no, u have to go out into the sun with lemon juice in ur hair. and, that only works with lighter color hair anyways! u just put the lemon juice in ur hair and go out into the sun and let the sun do the work...it can also make ur hair dry, so condition if u do this!

You can lighten your hair with lemon juice gradually, but I her you are supposed to spray it in your hair and then go in the sun. It's going to be very subtle high lights.

No, that's not true. It takes light and lemon juice to make blonde streaks, not heat and lemon juice

that was something we use to do way back then,,,,,this is how you do it....and its better with hydrogen peroxide,,,you soak the section that you want lightened and concentrate on that section with the blow dryer brushing it at the same time. each time you do it ..it'll get lighter.black hair will be orangish brown...

Honestly you're better off getting it (professionally) bleached or using certain colors in box (dark & lovely, etc)
More immediate results
