Bleach used on clothes doesn't lighten your hair, but hydrogen peroxide does....that's what most lighteners are based on.

But before lightening your hair, you might want to go to a salon, and talk to a specialist. You'll be so much happier with what they offer than doing it from products bought in a store! And the results will be so much better!

It's bleach! Yes it will do alot of damage to your hair. Unless you want to walk around with a big stack of hay on your head, stay away from any form of bleach on your head.

dont use that bleach, go to the beauty supply and buy kalida blue ( i dont know how to spell it right but its said like i spelt it) its great but if you leave it on too long youll have like super blonde whiteish. Ive heard of ppl using peroxide but not suggested. lemon juice on your hair and then time in the sun will lighten it but you have to be patient with it and it doesnt damage your hair too bad. anything you apply to you hair will damage it to an extent even hairspray.

DO NOT USE IT!!!!!! it can break yes actually cause your hair to break! not to mention fall out in clumps, burn your scalp, turn the hair orange or make it so incredibly dry. does it damage....i should say so. if you want it lighter...go have it done professionally. not only will it look better and more natural they can make sure you get the best color for your skin tone and eye color.

It won't make your hair lighter.. chlorine in bleach is actually the same stuff that is in swimming pool chlorine so it will only make your hair dull, dried out, and easily breakable.

one word-NEVER put clorox in your hair, not to mention it could get into your eyes and blind you! Just go to drugstore and buy hilighting kit-I have very fragile hair and it works and looks natural w/out damage.

it might make it lighter, but it could also make it so damaged that it falls out...lol...maybe you should try store bought hair coloring or, at the very least, hydrogen peroxide.
