Hair - July 2006

Ok I used that sun in spray for my hair this summer and i got some lovely highlights on the top of my head. It looks nice in a pony tail but not when i wear it down. I want to die the top part back to my origional color, which is brown. (not a light brown but not a dark brown). Is it possible to only die the top part of your hair or should i just have it done professionally?

My hair isn't dry or anything, it's actually kind of oily, but I just got an ion hair dryer and it seems to be worse. I thought the ion hair dryers were supposed to be better for your hair than the regular kind? What can I do to keep this from happening. I can't use conditioner because my hair is thin and it just weighs it down even more.

This summer I used highlight spray and i deffinitly got some blonde highlights on my brown hair. They look nice but I want to get rid of them. They are only on the top part of my head so should I get a do it yourself die and put it back brown or should I have it done?

i am black and most of us get relaxers or perms. i want to but highlights in my hair but some 1 told me that my hair will break off if i don't go into a shop and get it deep conditioned every week. is that true? i usally just put semi-permenant hair color in but my hair is a dark sandy brown/black color and the colors i use only look like i put a tent in my hair but i want the full color to show. whaat do u think?

Now, when I try to wear it curly again, the part of my hair that I permed wont get as curly as it used to. I'm sure I overprocessed it. I 've done several home perms to starighten my hair, but this one must've been too strong or left in too long. Any way to get my curls and waves back to how they were?

At da same time i love my curly and thick hair.But my hair is tightly curled.i've short hair.it looks almost afro-like.i wish its more like julia roberts curl.my hair doesnt seem2grow down ways.its almost as if the gravity is pullin my hair in the opposite direction.I'm usin dove syampoo n conditioner n johnsons baby oil.
