I want to dye my hair Auburn my hair has been dyed dark brown I'd say around 3 months ago. I don't know if all the dyed hair has grown out. Since my hair is also naturally dark. Is there a way you can strip the old color out of your hair without bleaching ?

Instead of trying to strip out the old color..... You could go to Sally's Beauty Supply and ask for hair coloring for dark hair. It is in a black and orange box. Sorry, I can't remember the name brand. I used it and it worked really well. I would try this instead of stripping. I tried the stripping and turned orange. Then tried to redye dark....looked like hell. SO I bought this stuff and it was awesome. Good luck!

Be careful when messing around with your hair.
I know it's fun and glam, but, think about enjoying your natural color while you're young because when you get older (and it happens) you will need to color it and it's not fun it's a necessity.

Maybe you can have some fun with colored hairsprays and put off the harsh products for a while.

Yes it can happen the salon you go to can use a highger volume developer . I would be careful tho make sure you tell you stylist ever thing that is under your all ready colored hair. IF there is bleach make sure you tell them .. Good luck
