Part your hair down the middle. Take a little bit of mousse and run it through the top of your hair to enhance the smoothness and managability of the hair. Take a comb and next to the part on either side make another part. I tend to make mine about 1 inch thick, but you can do it smaller or bigger too. Take that section of hair and push it back so you can maintain the part. Grab the very front of the section of hair by your forehead and start twisting it towards the middle. Instead of a french braid, its what I call a french twist, where you take a little bit of hair at a time and twist it until you have gone all the way to the back of the head. To secure the twist with bobby pins there is 2 options. You can use just one bobby pin by opening it up around where the back of the twist is and simply pushing it up through the twist. So one arm of the bobby pin is on each side of the twist squeezing it in place. Or, you could take two bobby pins, and at the base of the twist use them to make a criss cross. Put one bobby pin through diagonally, and then the same with the other on the opposite side so that they intersect with one another, thus holding the hair in place. You repeat these steps until the whole top of your head is covered. Then you can leave the rest of the hair down, or put it in a ponytail, which looks cute too. Spritz the cornrows with a little hairspray and you're done! It sounds more complicated than it actually is, and just takes a little practice. Good luck!

It's now not very normal for hairdressers to try this. Usually bobby pins are used on WOMEN for up-dos. If she honestly knew what she used to be doing, she might have performed your hair safely in order that you would not want pins...and he or she might have reduce it in this type of means that it might develop into the correct appear. Maybe she used to be new or anything. I do not endorse you pass to her once more. Take care!
