Why does a sweater shrink in the wash anyways? It is cuz of the temperature of the water? Or how long it's soaked in the water? Pls tell me if you hv any suggestions or whatever!!

I'm from germany and live in the states for a year and a half now. In germany I used to buy Miss Sixty Jeans cuz I love them and hey just look great! Since I live in the states I've never ever seen them somewhere. I found a website where I can order them, but I rather wanna go to a store and try them on and all that stuff. So does anyone know a store here in the US where they sell Miss 60? (I live in VA) Is there a store here called "olymp and hades"?

I have inherited a fur coat. I'd rather die than wear it myself and am completely opposed to the fur trade. To destroy it seems an empty gesture, but to sell it seems wrong as well. Should I sell it and donate the proceeds to an animal charity? Any suggestions welcome.

hi everyone

i would like to know if there is any way of preventing the bottom of jeans wearing away and tearing from walking and touching the ground without having to roll the jeans up, because it changes the shape of the bootleg and looks a little silly sometimes depending on the denim. i don't often wear heels or overly chunky trainers either.

There's this lady I have to sit with at work. She is 50, going through the menopause and exclaims every half an hour that she is having a hot flush. She even says it to people on the phone "oh excuse me moment I am having a hot flush". It really grinds on my nerves. Plus, she co-ordinates all of her clothes and accessories, ie. bright orange false nails, with an orange hairband (yes she wears hairbands) and then orange top with orange lipstick, orange necklace orange earrings. It looks TERRIBLE and she does it with different colours every day. People tend to laugh at her. I know she must think she looks nice, but I am not being mean, she doesn't. How can I tell or show or hint to her to tone it down without hurting her feelings?! What a dilemma!!!

I'm a girl 26yrs, live in southeast asia, now a high school student. At my age I'm bit too old to be school girl, all my schoolmates are at their teen.

In my school, all girls wear fully covered dress. But, as a grown up woman, I was allowed to apprear rather differently. So, I wear a bit sexier school uniform: a tight short-sleeves white-blouse made from sheer fabric, a tight and short low-rise/hipster white-skirt, and lingerie: a sexy bikini bra, and a low-rise g-string. My tight blouse and skirt reveal my body curve while the sheerness of fabric reveal a bit of my bra and g-string beneath.

I love wearing this but want to appear more sexier. So far, I always wear nude-color bikini bra/g-string. And I want to try black bikini bra and g-string. Do you think this okay?

They always feel its the other persons fault (which it is) - but feel that you are blaming them when you try to explain that they may need to change their pattern of their own behaviour.

As this is a repetative pattern when they come across a certain type of bully, I have tried but failed to tell them to spot this type of person early on and alter their behaviour pattern accordingly.

Isn't that what we all have to do to live in relative harmony?

well im getting my lip pierced for my birthday in about three weeks..problem is my school doesnt allow piercings...so is it possible to get it pierced with a less noticeable stud or retainer? or am i gonna have to wait 6 months for school to let out?!
