I'm a young 31 who's a little bottom heavy. Are white jeans better suited for the younger crowd?

I don't think white jeans are good for anyone, I don't think you should wear white jeans. Wear black or some kind of dark color on the bottom it makes you look slimmer.

Oh God, white? Just don't wear white full stop. Why do fashion designers always have to bring back the WORST of the 80's? Jumper dresses, batwings tops, plastic earrings, bright yellow leather heels? Urgh.
Black jeans as someone else suggested not only are slimming for the pear-shaped, but will never go out of fashion.

If you put on those white jeans, you know what's going to happen? They're going to accentuate everything they cover. Even when paired with a light colored top, white jeans show everything!! Besides that, white jeans are out of season and out of style. Now, a white pant is a different story. White jeans scream white trash, white pants scream classy! wierd, huh? So to answer your question, yes, leave the younger crowd to make the mistake of wearing white jeans.

Wear black. Otherwise anytime you sit on something that might be a little dirty it will stand out like a sore thumb. But I am sure the color of the jeans you wear does not matter. I bet you look stunning in any color. Best wishes.

Black is more slimming, if you're trying to look thinner. Also white gets dirty easily. But you know, if you like it and it matches you, then more power to you!
