if there are no children present, she should be able to wear what she wants. even if it is just a pair of stockings.

I don't see the point in just stockings, but I usually wear just a bot tee shirt over my stockings and garter belt or even pantyhose when I get home from work. I kick off my heels, and hang up my business clothes and bra and put on a nice cotton tee shirt, maybe with some jogging shorts or maybe not, but I usually keep my stockings on for a while at least.
When entertaining guys, it is a sure fire way to peak their interest wearing stockings and a garter belt and heels. I have even answered the door that way when I am sure who in knocking.

As long as no children are present...it's absolutely fine for a woman to walk around the house in just a pair of stockings...but I prefer to be completely nude when I'm home alone. ;)

It is when you are entertaining someone special and the drapes are pulled so he is the only one to see you. Is it proper to get naked and have sex in the house, or take off your clothes to shower or bathe.
Don't be redicoulous, how a person dresses in the privacy of their home is none your business.

I say as long as no one kids or other people are present in the house then its your house and you should be able to walk around wearing whatever you want.

Just as proper as walking around nude as long as you are alone or with your man. Certanly better than going around in sweats and socks like a man..

I never walk around the house naked. But I get completely nude inside home. I live in a hot country which make me perspire heavily for day long. So it's more comfortable for me to get completely nude at home.

It may not be proper when you have mixed company over or answering the door but, alone with your boy friend or husband; sparks will fly.
