well im getting my lip pierced for my birthday in about three weeks..problem is my school doesnt allow piercings...so is it possible to get it pierced with a less noticeable stud or retainer? or am i gonna have to wait 6 months for school to let out?!

You can have it pierced with a labret stud, but chances are you would still be able to tell it is there.
Most piercers won't do piercings with a retainer. Reason being retainers are glass or acyclic/plastic. Its obvious why you won't want glass in your mouth. But with plastic/acrylic, the materials are often very porous, which means they are likely to harvest bacteria and germs and increase risk for infection. So you will need to make sure that a piercer has a high quality retainer if you want it done now.
Your best bet is to wait until school it out to get the piercing.

Try buying a bioplast stud with a clear acrylic ball.
I personally would have something to say about the school system not allowing piercings, though.

Yes, get a clear stud and make sure it has a flat back on it so it does not irritate your gums. One of my friends used this in combination with a goatee. It worked great for him, the hair helped to camouflage.

a ring is easier to keep clean, so thats robaly what your piercer will say. i have my tragus peirced and i wanted those cute studs, but he said that a ring is easier to keep clean, and it heals better. i assume thats what he/she will say about a lip ring. But since it is a lip ring he will probally let you get a stud, but he will still tell you a ring is better to start with.

Well sometimes depending on where you go they have rings and things that kinda blend in with your skin. like i have my belly button pierced and i am a cheerleader so i had to get a clear replacment that wasn't noticable.

just buy a smaller lip ring tiny like a diamond or something
