Try www.forever21.com They have really nice dresses for pretty cheap. The only problem I would see is that I'm not sure they could get it to you before Christmas so you would have to check on that. Good Luck.

Try Mata-land or save the children or red cross shops, second hand shopping can be fun and do you know what some of the clothes you buy are quiet good especially if you can get something from the 1940's the new fashion style coming in. Hey! I'm a man and believe me when my wife walks in a room with a little number from a charity shop they all think she has spent hundreds of pounds on herself. Do you know what I once lost it with her for spending to much money when we first got married and told her to take her dress back, but for two quid I went into a corner and died. ATB Red

I've found a good source of quality items really cheap is to go to a charity shop in an 'expensive' town, like Henly-on-Thames or Ascot. Go wherever the richest area is near you. You may not find anything, but it's always worth a look. My friend picked up a genuine Louis Vuitton handbag for a fiver in one.

There are lots of dresses around - maybe you need to try somewhere a little more unusual? Could you go to somewhere that has a large shopping centre or into a large city/town - London/Leeds/Birmingham etc.? Another place you could try is Monsoon - they have gorgeous outfits - you could look on their website before visiting? Ebay is also likely to be good and you will certainly find something on there but obviously wouldn't be able to try it on it advance. Good luck.
