i've often seen infomercial and advertisements on QVC and such for Bare Minerals makeup. It sounds nice, but does it really work? I suppose it might work for normal skin, but does it really cover up redness and acne and create a clean, fresh looking face? I don't have the best skin, although it has gotten better over the past 6 months or so.....but I need something strong enough to create a smooth look on my face, to cover up redness and acne.

so, has anyone who has tried it think it is worth the money? thanks!

I'm not very knowledgeable about hair care so i have a lot of questions so here goes!
I'm african american and I just got my hair died and and its really bright red, i really wanted a warm, dark brown but im tryin to see if this red will tone down as i wash it week by week or should i get a darker rinse and if so, what color? My hair also has some bright orange splotches, is this normal and will they go away? And i still see black around my edes but i dont want that, is there anything i can do about it? And at the moment, i'm using garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner for permed and color-treated hair, is this safe?

I know i'm asking alot of questions, but any help will be much appreciated, thanks!

I have seen so many different styles that the kids these days are into ( God I sound old ) anyway, One of these styles seems to be hetrosexual boys wearing eyeliner and mascara.

I don't think my nots are too strong or anything. Even if I tie my hair lightly, it leaves a crease. Why is that? How can i prevent it from happening? Even if it does happen, is there a way to make my hair straight again without having to wash it?

If it helps, my tankini has an opening where there is an extremely thin triangle shaped cup that provides no support and only covers the nipples. I need something to hold things in place, if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

I have HUGE purplish bluish blackich undereye circles that are genetic (not from lack of sleep) and i have tried many concelers but it just ends up making it look grey. I have heard that using a salmon conceler is good for the under eye area, that it brightens it and makes it look natural. Is this true? Also, where can i find an undereye conceler in salmon that is a medium shade with a warm tone to it? i have tried a few salmon concelers, but they all are too light and i have slightly tan warm skin. If you could give me a brand name that carries this type of product, that would be very helpful! thank you!

I have dark hereditary circles under my eyes (i get enough sleep, but they are always there because of my genetics) so i went shopping for a conceler today since thats what my dermatologist reccomended and i tried on and washed off about 10 different kinds. so the delicate skin around my eyes is really sore since its been washed and rubbed so much! what are some good soothing at home recipes of things that most people have around their house like cucumbers (except i dont have any right now, so other than cucumbers) that will sooth and moisturize and help minimize the dark circles and puffiness?

I'm going off to college soon and it's a little upsetting to be told that I "don't look old enough to start college." Some guy yesterday even said that I looked 13. Once people talk to me they assume that I'm in my 20s since I'm mature, but I obviously don't give a great first impression.

I'm 5'0, blonde hair down to the small of my back, baby face, 86 lbs (so obviously no chest). Usually I'll wear foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss, but it doesn't seem to help. I wear a lot of polo shirts and jeans/capris so it can't be my clothes or my lack of maturity. What can I do to look my age?
