Beauty & Style - 7 June 2007

The pain from my sunburn is as follows:
BITEING STING,like fire ants are attacking me.
A STABBING ITCH,like someone is drawing on my back with sharp knives,literately ripping my skin apart !
The pain shoots all the way to my inner back and back up again! Any advice from anyone? Other than "Don't get sunburned again" I'm willing to try anything!

i want more volume for my bangs...

I feel like I buy something new every pay check to try and continue to build and avoid wearing the same thing over and over. I have one credit card maxed out and not the best of credit. Work is business dress attire and I feel like my budget holds me back from looking professional. Any suggestions?

is a perm for my daughter?? i have a 13 yr old daughter and she wants a perm really bad. she has not started her peroid yet.....should she not get a perm?? her hair is naturally curly/WAVY horizantally. if she should get a perm what kind should she get? spiral curl ...? tight...? loose..? what should she do to her hair to prepare it? what shouldnt she do??....please help?!!?!?!

I got my first hole 6 years ago, and occasionally get some white stuff and a sore lump at the hole when I wear studs (even Gold) without taking them out for about 3-4 days.

When I got my first hole they used Gold studs and a gun and I didn't have any problems with healing, etc. I am wondering if I should use a different metal and method since more research about sanitation and piercing methods has been done. I've read that Titanium is the best and the needle method, and that the pain factor is about the same. I just need some advice: Gold versus Titanium, and Gun versus Needle. Thanks!

I did a strand test with bleach and where my hair is dyed dark, it goes orange! How do i stop this happening? My hair is dark brown naturally and i've been having blond and dark brown foils, I'm a bit stuck for cash, so i really need to be able to colour my hair myself.

I am pale, and I love being tan but usually just use fake tan sprays, but if I go out in the sun a lot this summer and wear sunscreen say 30 spf would it be possible for me to still get tan? Or would that just completely cover me up. I just don't know if there is a healthy way to get a tan from the sun I guess that's what I'm asking, even if it was just a lil to deepen my skin color that along with the fake tan would really help.

I never wear shorts or skirts because I hate my birthmark that is visible. My legs are so nice except for my birthmark ruins it. Everyone always asks me why I never wear skirts or shorts and all I say is that it's not my thing when I really would love to wear them. My mom is always bugging me about it an it pisses me off! Being a teen, it's a big deal because I see other girls at school who wear shorts and skirts and it makes me wish I weren't so ashamed of it. What should I do?

I'm having my 6th tattoo done later this month and I'm having writing going down my spine, it's quite large but will only take 1 sitting my artist said, anyway I was wondering how much it hurts, here is the other tattoos I have and the amount of pain I experienced if it helps...

Russia in writing on left hip - no pain
'love' in hebrew on right hip - tiny bit of pain
paw print on left foot - some pain, more than 'love'
anklet accross left ankle - VERY painful, no tears but incredibly painful
design on lower back - small amount of pain but took an hour so got used to it, felt quite nice as artist went on.

If that helps, can anybody give an idea how much this one is going to hurt? Many thanks.
