I am pale, and I love being tan but usually just use fake tan sprays, but if I go out in the sun a lot this summer and wear sunscreen say 30 spf would it be possible for me to still get tan? Or would that just completely cover me up. I just don't know if there is a healthy way to get a tan from the sun I guess that's what I'm asking, even if it was just a lil to deepen my skin color that along with the fake tan would really help.

Yes you would definitley get a tan. no sun tan lotion or oils!! sunscreen is the best way to get tan and protect your skin at the same time!!

Yes you probably would, but it depends on the person's skin. If you are light-skinned you might get tanned, or sun burned. If you are the kind that gets a tan, then yes, you would definitely get one. DON'T use chemicals or products for skin tanning while you are out in the sun. : ]

Tanning is not safe regardless of how u do it (only fake tan is safe that we know)....the tan (production of melanin) is your skin reacting to the damage being done by the UVA/UVB rays and trying to protect itself from the damage that is occurring....once u have a sunburn that is the highest amount of damage (sunburns range with the severity of them) or of course worse u increase ur chances of skin cancer

I'm afraid tanning is never safe. I think the best think you could do to look tan is to invest in some good sunless tanning products. Also check out the sunless tanning salons out there.
