Beauty & Style - 7 June 2007

I recently had my hair cut short in the front. My hair is a bit past shoulder length on the sides, but the front strands were about 2 or 3 inches longer. I had the front ones cut into short graduated layers; most of them come about half way down my cheek. I absolutely hate it! Is there anyway to get my long hair back in the front until it grows back? I live in south florida by Port saint lucie, if anybody could reccomend anywhere for me it would be appreciated!

One of my girl friends (who is fairly good looking )and I work part time at our local video store. Sometimes she wears v-neck shirts,(not very low at all) . She is a very firm 32b cup.Sometimes she will go braless and when she leans over the counter to ring out the movies,she gives her customer an eye full.I don't think she is doing it on purpose, because she mostly dresses normal and really never wears anything that would make you give her a second look. do you think it is on purpose, or should I tell her?

I have a tatto at the bottom of my back just a rose nothing offensive, yet I am told by men that it makes me appear sluttish. Why is that? Why should it offend people so and cause them to judge someone over a such a silly thing that is on my body and not their's?

I have not had a soda in a full year (not even ONE single sip) I don't drink sweet tea (I live in the South, so like everyone has sweet tea all the time), I have not had any chips/french fries/anything else that is fried in many months, and I am a vegetarian. I wash my face with acne clearing wash twice a day and wear very little bare minerals make up. Why do I break out?

My hair is pretty dry on its own and I was wondering if anyone knew if my hair would actually get moisturized better if I used the "wash-in-and-wash-out" conditioner first, then when I got out of the shower, used the leave-in conditioner next? Both conditioners are the same style and brand, just one is leave-in and the other is the washout kind. Will it actually dry my hair out or am I just paranoid? Thanks!

PS: I also have a mousse that's the same thing brand and style as the other two, would that be better than the latter?

I just dyed my hair a dark brown, but it turned out a veryy dark pretty much black color. I really dislike it and i was wondering if there were some cheaper methods i can try to lighten it to at least a dark brown. Preferable using products i already have on hand

Hello.
I'm getting a tattoo done on the top of my right foot this Monday and I have a question. I know that it is best to only wear sandals(or have nothing rub on it) and keep it exposed and clean as much as possible. Here is my dilemma though. I am currently training for a 10km marathon that is in a month and therefore am running four+ times a week. Plus I am on a rugby team with practices twice a week and a game every second week. I am willing to keep my tattoo uncovered for a couple days but I was wondering if there was a way that I could cover it safely and still wear runners and cleats so I could continue training and practicing without ruining the tattoo. Has anyone had any experience w/ this?What did you do?What were the results? What would you suggest?

ps. It is not possible for me to push back the tattoo appointment seeing as rugby continues well into fall and even when I'm not training for a marathon I'm at the gym 3-4 times a week

I usually wash my face in the morning and in the night, but I use acne pads only at night. Should I use the pads in the morning too, but only wash my face at night, or reverse, and so on and so forth?

I naturally have a really light brown color and i have dyed my hair blonde for sometime now and you know your hair grows and you get the roots well due to an incident with come chemical straightener my roots have grown out a lot well is there a way that I can leave the blonde dye on my roots longer than the suggested 45 mins to achieve the light blonde shade that i want (02 light blonde) and then just leave the dye on the rest of my hair the regular amount of time
