1] buy a rich, hypoallergenic cream for your legs, and use daily
2] only use shave gel for sensitive skin
3] use a razor 3/4 times, and get a new one
4] shave at end of bath or shower, when pores are open, and hair is soft
5] shave from ankles to knees. Overlap shave strokes so you cover each area about two times. Then flex toe of foot upward to shave back of ankles. Straighten knees to shave fronts and backs. Shave thighs, if necessary, from knees to groin.
6] do not apply lotion, cream, etc. until legs are completely dry, so pores are closed and cream won't irritate.
If you can't find a good cream, try petroleum jelly.
If the shave gel doesn't work, try a sensitive skin body wash
or hair conditioner.

Have you tried Aveeno Sensitive skin Hypoallergenic shaving cream? And always shower with warm water before shaving so your pores open up. Id also suggest Venus Gillete razor blades the ones with the batteries.

bikini zone makes a shaving gel for legs - this helps tons, also make sure when you shave your legs not to press very hard with the razor. I use the 'Gilliet Fusion' power razor with that gel and it really makes a difference.
Spend the money and get a really good body lotion - curel and aveno work pretty well for me. In the winter I use 'chapped hand' lotion on my legs - maybe try using it in the summer.
Good luck!

I read just today (on MSN, I think) that "safflower oil" (I don't know if that's correct spelling) oil does wonders to legs.
It is a vegetable oil--good for cooking and good for your heart--that you can buy at the grocery store.
It said to take a shower and while your body is still moist, put it own.
Give it time to soak in or it might put a stain on your clothing.
Just put it own until your body has smoothed out.
Good luck!
