I naturally have a really light brown color and i have dyed my hair blonde for sometime now and you know your hair grows and you get the roots well due to an incident with come chemical straightener my roots have grown out a lot well is there a way that I can leave the blonde dye on my roots longer than the suggested 45 mins to achieve the light blonde shade that i want (02 light blonde) and then just leave the dye on the rest of my hair the regular amount of time

If your new growth (roots are under the scalp) has grown out longer than 3 weeks, leaving the bleach on your new growth longer will not solve the problem. You will need a professional hairdresser who specializes in hair coloring to create the same color from scalp to the ends of your hair.
If you are using a tint (we only dye fabric, not hair) it can go as long as 4 weeks between retouches, but then it will also cause stripes of hair color because the product has grown too far from the heat on the scalp. Good luck.

No, because then your roots would be blonde, but the rest of your hair will be lighter. And if you try rinsing out the color on the bottom while leaving the top on, you caould wind up with spots of lighter/darker color. I suggest you get a touch-up kit (I think Clairol makes them, I'm not exactly sure.) It's meant just for your roots, as a touch up in between dyes.

i wouldnt recommend that because i dont think it will make it lighter i may just damage your hair, if you want it lighter i would suggest a booster
