The problem is dead skin. Cut a lemon in half and rub this on you knees. It will gently exfoliate them, and the acids will help to brighten the skin.

Knees and elbows tend to be darker from the healing process fr: scars or rough playing as kids (and sometimes as adults). The knees and elbows could hold more pigmentation cells (melanin). It's a natural effect for healing skin surfaces.
What you can do to lighten the area around your elbows/knees is to exfoliate the targeted skin w/ a loofah daily to rid of dead skin cells. Apply a skin lightener product to engage your skin cells not to hold so much melanin. You should see results within two weeks.

Sun exposure has made the wrinkly skin in your knees darker than the unwrinkled skin on your shins or your thighs.
Use a good exfoliate; additionally, rubbing your knees with lemon juice before you go in the sun may help lighten them. Always put sunscreen on them to prevent further darkening.

knees, elbows, groin and underarms tend to be darker than other parts of our body because they are the most stretched and rubbed against clothing and external objects..
fortunately these problem areas can be lightened by a skin lightening cream.. choosing the right skin lightening products is easy if you know what ingredients to look for.. safety, potency, and efficiency are the top factors to consider..
here's where you can find them -

Either it's just the way you're made (meaning genetics) or there's bad circulation.
I've always had purple knees but playing sports did that to me.
It's funny because you press down on my knees and you knwo how it goes white but then the colour of the ksin is suppose to rush bad to red, haha mine stay white. obviously i have horrid circulation.
