I'm a male and I just moved to Gaslamp section of downtown San Diego. I need a hair cut, not a barber, but a respectable salon/stylist. Trying to not spend a fortune doing it. Would like to be able to walk there. Any suggestions?

Our house has very hard water and my skin and hair is always very very dry after I shower. Is there anyway that i can prevent this without having to buy a water softner?
Also, if there are any types of soaps or lotions that can help preventing dry skin, that would be great.

I went to get my hair done today i didn't tip at all...i mean they had me waiting in several different chairs like musical chairs...with a different person who shampoos colors cuts and pulling my hair with the brush and the water was too hot when she was rinsing my hair mind u the hairdresser said she didn't believe in gay marriage and was against abortion and she said she loved Bush and thought the Iraqi's loved the soldiers (sure what a joke that is)....i felt like i was thrown around the salon mind you she left the toner in too long so now i don't have highlights i have a "hue of hightlights" to my hair so 125.00 dollars later for that type of service..do you see any reason why i should have tipped? Cause the chick gave me a dirty look...i think that might be the last time i go there..what do you think?

My friend has a oval face she has long hair about down 2 her waist, she wants to donate 12 inches to locks of love so then it is 2 in past her shoulder but then she want to cut it to a chin length bob thats like stacked so short in the back the very bottom part is buzzed. i personally dont think that she should buzz the back part like not stack it up so high but she says it will look great but i hav my doutbs do u think she should leave it a little bit longer than her shoulders or should she get a chin lenghth bob and buzz the back

it looks really hot. But I also ordered a pair of BCBGirls shoes to go with it. Since I bought it online, I didnt know the color would turn out to be so different. now that it's winter, wearing jeans all the time is pulling alot of the hairs on my thighs off, and now i have a whole bunch of tiny red ugly bumps on my thighs (by a whole bunch i mean like 15, lol).

how do i get rid of them? i've tried pulling some of the hairs out with tweezers, popping some of them out, but there are a few that are really in there!

are there any ways to get rid of these stubborn ones? i would prefer to not go out and spend money on something....
