I'm pretty much just paranoid about small blonde hairs on my face and I like it totally smooth... so I suffer through a few days of redness and hurt afterwards for smoothness' sake. What chemical causes the irritation and has anyone ever used something that works better? Anything out there for sensitive skin?

Im a 22 year old guy and I've been wondering for a while if it's wise to get my ear pierced. Was messing around with my pics and when I digitally put an earring on one of them I looked sweet. problem is I'm a Christian and one day hope to go into ministry (with my chequered quetion history shocking isn't it?) so I'm not sure if I should do it. Any ideas? And does it hurt? (typical male phobia for needles and sharp things!!)

I have reddish brown hair and want to dye it black. My split ends are all over and I cut them when I can but I can only do so much...

People's views are mixed, so do you think dying my hair black will mask the damage of split ends (making it look healthier and less damaged), or make them stand out more (seeing as how the splits are naturally white and I would be dying it black)?

Please no one just tell me to go to a hairsresser. I don't have the money for a pofessional cut/dye and thats why I'm asking here!

I was wondering, if medically speaking the UV rays from the sun has any effect on color or fullness of my hair. I noticed that before i started covering my hair for religious purposes my fair color was alot more vibrant and it seemed fuller....but as time went on and i started covering my hair most of the time i saw the color start to fade and my hair seemed thinner and it fell out easier....can lack of sunlight have this effect on hair?
