permit the water hit it for a pair seconds to get it moist, take cleansing soap on your hand and rub it in firmly, yet do not harm your self. permit the water rinse it off for no better than 15 seconds, once you're carried out showering pat it dry. do not positioned POLYSPORIN OR VASELINE ON IT. lubraderm, keri lotion (unscented) prep h ointment, or in spite of your tattoo artist suggested (there are various numerous issues you need to use).

By using a heavy coating of Vaseline (or another petroleum jelly) you will prevent the water from reaching the fresh tat. Once you pat it dry after your shower, then you should put more Neosporin or comparable gel-based antibiotic on the tattoo.

you can get it wet but just dont stay in for a long time and for sure dont sit in a tub of water...........dry it carefully and reapply your lotion after, once it peels it is ok to get it wet....YOU DO NOT WANT TO WASH IT, TRYING TO REMOVE THE SCAB WILL ALSO REMOVE THE INK, LET IT PEEL BY IT'S SELF, JUST USE YOUR LOTION THAT THE TATOO ARTIST SUGGESTED AND DO NOT USE VASOLINE IT DRAWS OUT THE INK TOO.......OMG PEOPLE*
