is it closed in the back? If so pop it back through and leave them in until they are completely healed. The six week time frame is an approximate healing time. if your ears still hurt, they are not healed. Make sure you clean them everyday with ear care. when i had my cartilage pierced i put in those tiny hoops and they healed great, i think it lets them "breath" a little and it also keeps them clean. Oh yeah, get hypoallergenic earings.

Oh! this happened to me as well. I think its best for you to wear them for a longer time. I took mine out after 6 months and haven't been wearing earings much for a long time. Now it kinda hurts when i have to put them in. For me, although it hurts, i just try to get them through and wear them for a week, so the hole isn't closing up. The solution to this problem, WEAR THEM LONGER!! =]

wait where did you get it peirced in? ear lobe, cartilidge....?
cause it usually takes time for these to heal, ear lobe is 4-8 weeks if you want a FULL recovery, and for cartildge is i think 6 months? im not sure about that....if it hurts you should keep it in longer...and remember dont misplace those first studs, because you should often wear them so your ear hole doesnt close too small! lol it happens...

dangling rings can hardship you each at times, in simple terms based on the greater weight and swinging they do on a similar time as on your ears. Studs in simple terms proceed to be on your ears without lots circulate in any respect. you will desire to save making use of alcohol on them on a daily basis for a on a similar time as till they provide up bothering you. it could take various years for them to cool down whilst they're pierced, yet I in simple terms approximately consistently get sore ears from wearing cling rings and it is been 30 years via fact mine have been pierced.
