My boyfriends best friend told us the other day that he NEVER uses shampoo. I find this odd. Is this a common thing that I am unaware of? Am I the weird one for thinking it is dirty to just use hot water? Please let me know.

Hot water will break down any grease. I guess if his hair doesn't smell it works for him.

i'm a hairdresser and that i do not trust the temperature of the water may have a huge result on the shortcoming of hair. definite, we regularly tell human beings to bathe with chilly, even though it quite is often for persons with coloration dealt with hair. What warm water does is it opens the cuticle of the hair. this isn't a very undesirable element see you later as we close the cuticle back up on the best with a chilly rinse. this retains the hair from getting coarse and retains it gentle. as far as your lack of hair, this may be do to different issues. i'd search for advice from a healthcare professional and perchance commence taking Biotin. Its accessible at anyplace like sprouts or moms and it strengthens hair and nails!

How long is the hair? I imagine that if it is really short then it wouldn't matter--the hair wouldn't be long enough to be weighed down with grease. Now if it was a girl with waist length hair--let me in on the secret! Lots of money saved by not buying shampoo!

Yes, Me

I use shampoo twice a week. But I shower daily, unless I take a bath.

That is not healthy for the hair. I have heard of guys using a bar of soap or dish soap on their head, but not water only. That sounds disgusting.

Well...I guess if his hair isn't greasy, and doesn't smell, then it's working for him. I can't imagine not using shampoo.

SOME GUYS JUST USE THEIR BAR OR BATH GEL FOR THEIR HAIR, SO IT'S WASHED BUT NOT WITH SHAMPOO.
