Nope. If it is very tight and restrictive [ie you can't breathe in it during the day!] you shouldn't be wearing it any way.

Otherwise, since gravity isn't in play at night ;) , take it off! Very uncomfortable and pokey...

I started wearing a sports singlet with a built in bra to bed when I was a D cup, now I'm a AU 12G cup and I always wear an underwire bra to bed-- it obviously doesn't prevent breast growth!!!
I have to agree with some of the other comments that it does help to prevent breast sagging and it is really comfortable, especially if you have large breasts.

I don't know about it preventing breast growth. I have however heard that you have a higher chance of getting breast cancer when sleeping with a bra on. You need to let your breast breath occasionally. Also you are putting a lot more wear on your bra than you need to. They will last longer if you don't wear them at night. Also if you don't put them in the dryer.

No it is not bad to sleep with your bra on. Both of my girls sleep with theirs on and they are in 36 D. And the youngest one is only 17 years old. So if you are comfortable sleeping with yours on, then go right ahead and do it.

it is totally better for you.I have large boobs and have had 2 kids and have been sleeping with my bra on since my very early teens, it keeps them where they should be and the myth of " yhey have to breath" is a complete lie.your holding up muscle tissue that eventually starts to tear away from gravity taking its toll, sleep with it on you'll be happy with the results later in life!

I say that it will cause those little skin tags, from pulling on your skin when rolling over. Its best not to wear one at night.

I can't see how it's bad for you, but it seems like it would be incredibly uncomfortable.
